The new 4-miniature gift set from the prestigious French brand is now 100% plastic-free

Palais des Thés chooses Pozzoli for its new sustainable packaging

Eco-design is more than just a trend; it is an industrial strategy capable of uniting impact reduction, recyclability, and synergy between partners.

These are the pillars behind the new project by Palais des Thés, which chose Pozzoli’s expertise to revolutionize the packaging of its miniature collection.

A mono-material approach for maximum recyclability

The core of this innovation lies in the transition to a fully mono-material box. All components (tray + fitment + sleeve) are made of FSC MIX cardboard, a choice that simplifies the recycling process for the end consumer and significantly reduces the production’s ecological footprint.

The numbers behind the change

The transition to this new format leads to a tangible reduction in plastic waste:

  • 52g of plastic saved per individual gift set.
  • 7 grams eliminated by removing the plastic window.
  • 45 grams avoided by replacing the plastic fitment with a structural paper and cardboard solution.

Looking to the future: large-scale impact

The official debut of the new pack took place in January 2026 with the “Céréales à Infuser” reference. However, this is only the beginning: this reduced-plastic format will be progressively extended to all of the brand’s 4-miniature gift sets. The overall impact is extraordinary: once fully implemented, this initiative will prevent the use of over 8 tons of plastic per year. This is a concrete example of how the partnership between Palais des Thés and Pozzoli is redefining luxury packaging standards, making them more respectful of our planet every day.
